Messages from the Earth, 13:40min This documentary compiles the reflections and views of four Indigenous men and women from the Tupinambá Hāhāhāe, Pankararu, Kariri-Xocó and Tupinambá ethnicities. They question what it means to be civilised and what it means to be a barbarian. Through their lived experiences, and through the memories and traumas suffered by their elders, they reflect on both the local and global realities of human coexistance with nature.
Dieser Film entstand durch kollektive Zusammenarbeit. This documentary follows the re-conquering of the Cachimbo Village. It presents a close look at a modern battle to regain cultural heritage, traditional and ancestral land. The Indigenous worldviews and cosmologies presented, many times in start contrast to Western beliefs and traditions highlights some of the complexities of preserving Indigeniety in Brazilian Northeast.
Etude V is a Solo Dance where Pau Aran explores simplicity and minimalism using his body as the only instrument. The work of the Peruvian poet César Moro fills this choreographic piece that reveals the universe of this author and surrealist painter who is an influence and reference for this study developed by the Catalan artist. Pau Aran finds a composition full of clear intentions. A pure gesture to honour what he learned at that time and everything that led him to that point. So, in a way, a celebration and a farewell in the form of gratitude towards the inspiration that such a beautiful dream leaves behind.

AMAZONIA 2040 addresses these questions in a personal way.
